What a day we had it starting with Isis eating her breakfast and me believing that she would not have the puppies within 12 hrs because of it. As a new mother she was very restless and tried to nest under an end table. I took her to her whelping box several times, then I took her out and walked around then watched her disappear under a mass of thorney bushes. She had dug a nice nest and was going to have her babies there. We frantically cut down the bushes to get to her. Back to the whelping box and the first puppy made its appearance at 4 PM and the last at 11 PM.
