Birth
Starting early Saturday morning Dar began nesting behavior. She would not eat breakfast and she did a lot of changing positions and going out. She decided to go to the whelping box where she spent the day and me too. I kept close to her or rather she kept close to me. If I left the room she followed. So she and I stayed by the whelping box. Finally at midnight she started hard labor and the first male was born. From then until about 3 in the afternoon the babies kept coming 2 males then 3 females male female then 2 males for a total of 9 babies.
It is a big job keeping all the babies fed
Very conented babies with such cute faces
Dar snuggling 2 of the babies
